Hamilton 2092 ✤
MULTI-LENS LAB v2 · DESIGN + WEAR

Multi-lens · Hamilton 2092 · Perceptual Interface

About the Multi-lens Lab.

An immersive single-page configurator + AR try-on for the Hamilton 2092 Multi-lens glasses — a perception device that makes invisible layers of the world visible to the wearer.

The Device

The Multi-lens is one of four distinct entities in the Hamilton 2092 universe. In 2092, it is canonically a pair of glasses that reveals non-human spectra, the Orenda Network field, live OrgoBot swarm activity, and historical excavation of the site underfoot. The 2025 lineage prototype was a bulky gear-driven chassis — the lab preserves that mechanism as a form-factor option to disclose the lineage.

Two Modes

The lab ships two modes toggled from the masthead. Design mode renders a parametric 3D pair of glasses in a dark studio — the left panel rebuilds them live, view toolbars switch between Hero, Exploded, Blueprint, Lineage, and Print, and export is to GLTF, STL, or JSON. Wear mode opens the webcam — the front camera places a face-tracked glasses overlay, and the rear camera applies per-layer post-FX filters (animal vision, Orenda aura, OrgoBot swarm, historical excavation) to a live feed.

Print-Ready

Inside Design mode, the Print view lays out the glasses as nine separable parts on a simulated Bambu Lab P1S build plate (256 × 256 mm). The canonical Term-7 mechanism is faithful here: an outer gear tube with an 18-tooth rim contains an equilateral triangular mirror prism that rotates to cycle three of the four optical layers. The fourth (swarm) remains digital-only, per narrative discipline.

Technical Note

Static site — everything inline in a single index.html. Three.js r167 via CDN import map. Fonts served locally from ./fonts/. Webcam access is getUserMedia; nothing leaves the browser and nothing is recorded. MediaPipe Face Landmarker loads lazily from CDN on first front-camera enter; if blocked, Wear mode falls back to a centred static overlay.
